Hop on over and learn more about scouting and our troop, take our knot challenge to earn your very own patrol patch, and meet some awesome scouts!

Kids can learn valuable skills in scouting such as first aid, knots and lashings, orienteering, and leadership.

Our troop meets every Wednesday from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at the SCAA Meeting House on the grounds of the Steele Creek Athletic Association located at 13530 Choate Circle, Charlotte, NC 28273.

In addition to our normal troop meetings we also plan several weekend camping trips throughout the year, day trips to places like the US National Whitewater Center, participate in service projects for a variety of local nonprofit organizations, as well as projects organized by our Eagle Scout candidates, attend summer camp at local and regional scout reservations, and plan bi-annual high adventure trips to Scouting America camps like Sea Base located in the Florida Keys.

Southwest Middle School is located at 13624 Steele Creek Road, Charlotte, NC 28273.
